About Us

We are a non-profit theatre group for talented young people, established for over 30 years, rehearsing on Sundays here on the Wirral Peninsula in the UK.  We perform one complete show every February, currently at 'The Little Theatre' in Birkenhead, Wirral.

The group started originally as a youth section to the long-standing and well-renowned Wallasey Operatic Society, but we have been completely independent since 2000, performing shows such as 'Seussical the Musical', 'Honk', 'Barnum', 'The Slipper And The Rose', and 'Les Miserables' to name but a few.

Stage One 2000 Musical Youth Theatre is run by a group of devoted and enthusiastic adults, who give their time freely and with love. Eadh one has significant training in teaching and/or theatrical arts and the children benefit from the breadth of experience brought by each and every one.
